Dancing Shadow
And then
suddenly, she stopped dancing
As if she
could no longer hear that unsung song
Her smile
changed into a frown
Head bowed
down
Eyes filled
with tears “Oh! Dear”
Come back!
She called at the empty sky
What without
you, am I
The dances
miss their rhythm
The songs
too I hum
Days are not
as bright as they used to be
What without
is this empty me
Your loving
embrace do I miss
All it was,
but just a bliss
Books now
too cry on the shelf
What without
you is myself
Eyes cleared
Head held
high
A big smile on
the face
She started
dancing again
As if the
skies sympathized her pain
