We grew up

When people told us 'everyone will get busy with their lives'
we would nod and say "it will not be the case with us"
but somewhere in the nodding, we grew up...
we would promise to stay like that forever
but in those promises, we grew up...
Whatever it may be, we'll atleast have time for each other
meanwhile in that time, we grew up...
Whatever our age, we'll understand our non-sense
But talking that non-sense, we grew up...
Stop talking about time changing people- we'd say
We never CHANGED but yes, we GREW up...
